Numbers we measured, not numbers we hoped for.
Advertised horsepower is easy. Repeatable horsepower is engineering. Every BluePrint engine is dyno tested before it ships, and the tolerances that make that possible are set long before the engine reaches the test cell.
Five points where an engine can be caught.
Quality is a sequence of checks, each one cheap compared with a failure in a customer's car.
Ask us about your applicationComponent inspection
Blocks, heads and rotating parts are measured against written specs before assembly begins. Parts we engineered ourselves are held to our own drawings.
Balance & clearance
Rotating assemblies are balanced within two grams of spec. Bearing clearances and surface finishes are set deliberately, not accepted as they come.
Assembly to spec
Each engine is assembled to a documented build sheet — cam timing, valve lash, torque sequence — so the four hundred thousandth matches the first.
Dyno test
Every engine is run on the dynamometer. Anything that does not behave the way the build sheet says it should never reaches a crate.
Break-in, still required
Factory dyno running does not replace break-in in the vehicle. Follow the published break-in procedure after installation — it protects both the engine and the warranty.
Questions about break-in, timing or tuning? That is a phone call, not a form.
Our technical support team knows the internals of the engine you bought — cam specification, compression, calibration. Call them before you guess.
